This special edition of The CyberJungle is an in-depth conversation with Dr. Cliff Stoll. Back in the 80s, a US Government research lab came under a cyber attack. There was not a rule book for the response. Dr. Cliff Stoll was assigned the task, and had to create a response largely on his own. Dr. Stole keynoted the HTCIA conference last week, and he sat down with The CyberJungle for a far ranging interview on security and digital forensics.

Ira, Good interview with Cliff. Cliff brings up some very interesting questions regarding searches of mobile devices and a person’s right to privacy. Law enforcement struggles with these issues now. I agree with Cliff that eventually the courts will come up with something that makes everyone unhappy, but accepting of the restraints. Tom
