How to Listen or Subscribe to the Podcast

–> Download, stream, or subscribe – You can use this link to:

1.  Subscribe automatically to the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed to automatically get the latest episode sent to you, “audio TiVo” style. This is the fastest and easiest way to receive and listen to the Data Security Podcast.

2. Stream the program an listen on your computer or handheld.  Select the link above, and then press “Play” below the episode of your choice.

3. Save episodes to your computer or handheld device. Select the link above, and on a PC, right mouse click on the episode of your choice, and save the file to your computer.  Instructions for MAC, Linux and handhelds will vary, please see the help menu on your particular device or application.

Subscribe via iTunes

–>Tune into the show on iTunes, you can also subscribe to the program on iTunes. Just click on the link in your browser, and iTunes will auto-launch to our page on iTunes. Once there, the easiest way to receive and listen to the Data Security Podcast is to subscribe from that iTunes screen.   You must have iTunes software installed for this to work, and iTunes is only available for Windows and MAC computers, and iPhone and iTouch devices.

Once you have subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, you can sync the podcast on Blackberry, iPhone, and other iTunes compatible devices. If you have an iPhone or iTouch, you may recieve the lastest episodes “over air” without a cable sync to your computer, but the sync must be done over a WiFi connection.

TIP: Easy Way To Subscribe In Your Car

Set up a WiFi hotspot that reaches where you park your car, or to your garage. Set up an iTouch to receive your favorite podcasts, including the Data Security Podcast. Leave the iTouch in your car (hidden!), and let it sync in the car regularly. You will have fresh Podcasts in your car whenever you want to hear them!

Linux Users

Open Source users can also use Rhythmbox to listen and subscribe to this podcast. Rhythmbox is a music management application designed for the GNOME Desktop. Many Linux distros include Rhythmbox, so check your system. Once you launch the Rhythmbox, select the Subscribe to New Podcast  icon in the top tool bar, and use this URL when prompted: http://feeds.feedburner.com/datasecuritypodcast .
